When Øystein Sunde and "Meget i sløyd" visited us early this spring, every seat was filled, the waiting lists were long and many were frustrated at not getting a ticket. There was almost a popular demand for an extra performance! And so it was. So therefore; welcome Øystein Sunde and "Meget i sløyd" with the performance "Karusellskapssyk"

He is one of our most popular artists and has for over 50 years given us songs where both tongue and guitar fingers must be in the right place at the right time. He has countless record releases, TV productions and show successes to his credit. He is currently working on the show Karusellskapssyk. He is simply Øystein Sunde!

This show began its life at Chat Noir in the fall of 2021 to 5s on the dice:

• 50 years of success and just as happy (Dagsavisen)

After the Chat Noir period, we're told, some new songs have come sailing in, and the singer-songwriter is clearly excited and gregarious about the new material.

We'll take a look at everything we do on a daily basis, revisit songs and stories from a long life on stage and in the studio - and of course there will be a new chapter in "The Saga of Harald Jordfreser".

Øystein Sunde's solo career began at Dolphins viseklubb at Grensen 18 in Oslo in 1966.
- It was a club full of enthusiastic beginners in their late teens. You got to sit on a bar stool and sing three songs, and then it was next man up, says Sunde about this time. After four years on the stool, his first album came out and his career really took off.

Øystein Sunde has been involved in most things in Norwegian showbiz and can look back on collaborations with Ingrid Bjørnov, Gitarkameratene, Halvdan Sivertsen, Eldar Vågan, Dizzie Tunes & Grethe Kausland, Hege Schøyen and Vazelina Bilopphøggers, to name a few.
