Classical Ukrainian Etoile: Nøtteknekkeren

You can look forward to a wonderful experience for the whole family. Now comes the world-renowned ballet The Nutcracker with Tchaikovsky's infinitely beautiful music, performed by Ukrainian ballet stars in Classical Ukrainian Etoile Ballet.

The Nutcracker is a beautiful fairy tale about young Clara who falls asleep and finds that the Nutcracker Prince, toy soldiers, snowflakes and the Sugar Plum Fairy come to life. The dream is not only pleasant, full of sweets and snow. Clara and the prince also have to fight overgrown rats and mice.

It was the composer Peter Tchaikovsky who made this story one of the world's most popular ballets in 1892, and today it is a worldwide Christmas tradition to see this performance. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that both dance and music are perceived as universal languages, and regardless of nationality or age, this story of a girl's fragile dream and the struggle between good and evil, where love wins in the end.

This version of The Nutcracker uses classical choreography by Marius Petipa and is performed by Classical Ukrainian Etoile Ballet.

The tour is presented by the Norwegian organization "Culture for the People" to support Ukrainian classical ballet art and Ukrainian artists who do not have the opportunity to perform in their home country. The tour will visit Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
