"The greatest of all is love," they say. But what does that really mean? Professor and podcaster Einar Duenger Bøhn has taken a deep dive into the most fundamental and perhaps most crucial thing about being human.
Einar Duenger Bøhn is known for making philosophy accessible to the general public. In this lecture with musical elements, he takes us on an exciting and thought-provoking journey through the different forms of love: from friendship and infatuation to care, responsibility and moral obligation.
Because love can be even greater than we think. Perhaps there is something in the ancient myths that tells of love as a fundamental driving force in the universe – the one that creates order from chaos?
This is the evening for those of you who like to think a little bigger. And for those of you who want to understand more of what we are all in the middle of. Bring a friend, a parent or a crush and join us!
Einar Duenger Bøhn is a professor of philosophy at the University of Agder and one of Norway's most visible public intellectuals. He has written a number of books for a wide audience, including The Art of Thinking Together, The Meaning of Life, and The Philosophy of Technology.
