INGVILD HOMME

Ingvild Homme (b. 1987) has roots in Treungen and Bamble in Telemark, and was raised in Skien. She has written texts and poems all her life and has studied performing music and music pedagogy at the Music Conservatory in Agder and fiction, creative writing at the Writers' Studio in Bø.

Song of the finest kind
In the fall of 2018, she released her first album, "Stemme lengter", and the online magazine GAFFA wrote that she made her debut album with strong lyrics about closeness and distance, searching, not finding. Ingvild already had a similar joke in her back from Bjørn Eidsvåg, who the year before had stated that the music moved him, and that Ingvild's voice oozes credibility, vulnerability and musical control. Eidsvåg defined her songs as fragile and beautiful, and believed that this stands out from the crowd and has its own character and clear signature. The following year, Ola Bremnes fell for Ingvild's music when she played a support concert for him at the Josefine show, and summarized it as beautiful; ballad singing of the finest kind.

True closeness
Ingvild released her second album, "Kom nærmere" (Come Closer) in 2021. She took this album a step further from her first album and challenged herself in terms of themes and design. Music journalist Tor Hammerø gave his review of the album the title "Ekte nærhet" (Real closeness), and wrote that Ingvild addresses the big questions in life in a personal and heartfelt way. Norwegian in Norwegian on P1 referred to voices such as Joni Mitchell and Kari Bremnes when introducing Ingvild's first single from "Kom nærmere", and Deichman music wrote that "We need more Ingvild Homme".

In 2023, Ingvild released her third album in Norwegian, entitled "Detta lyset". The album opens in an unusually beautiful way, and is a well-produced record in the vice-pop landscape produced by expert producers from Kjetil Steensnæs and Homme himself - according to music journalist Ådne Evjen. Hammerø summarizes that Ingvild is quickly establishing herself as an artist, songwriter and communicator of something personal that we will give a lot of attention to in the years to come. She deserves it.

New music from Ingvild's fourth album
In June 2025, Ingvild released a new recording of her song "Si no som hjælp", together with artist Randi Oline. A collaboration that was used by Amnesty, among others, in their pride campaign in 2025. With her fourth album on the way, to be released in the new year 2026, Ingvild will complete a seasonal cycle. The mood and expression in Ingvild's first album (Stemme lengter, 2018) was autumn, the second album (Kom nærmere, 2021) winter, the third album (Detta lyset, 2023) spring, and the summer album, which is about closeness to nature, "grounding" and landing, is celebrated and communicated this evening.

SYMRE (SUPPORT)

Symre opens the evening, and is a songwriter and guitarist from Morgedal. The lyrics are in dialect, and often receive the feedback "quirky", with humor as an important tool. The music is playful, and draws elements from jazz, folk, pop and rock. Symre is passionate about engaging communication, and is known for good contact with the audience.

Symre will present brand new music from the album "Ikkje noko for meg" which will be released on March 1, 2026.
