Sigvart Dagsland "Det er makt i de foldede hender"

It's been 30 years since my hymnal "There is power in folded hands" was released.

At the time, I was completely unprepared for the reception from the audience, which was simply overwhelming. You might think that it was churchgoers who bought the record and came to the concerts,
but it had a much wider impact. I don't really know why. But I felt myself that there was a power in these old songs, a power that wouldn't leave me unaffected. And now I haven't played them for a long time. And we've never performed the whole album before. But we're doing something about that this year: On the church tour this fall, we're simply going to play the whole album. Laiv.
In addition, we will play some of my own most hymn-like pieces, as well as the occasional tune from the "Hymns" album. This will be a one-off event, and it will be great!

With me I have three amazing musicians:
Torjus Vierli on grand piano, David Wallumrød on Hammond organ and Espen Tappel on guitars.

This will be fun!
