Skien World

Skien World is being held for the third year in a row, and Ibsenhuset has partnered with four other major players: Oslo World, Tromsø World, Molde Mundo and Bergen International Music Festival. Together, we are stronger and thus have greater opportunities to attract big stars in various music genres from all over the world. Ibsenhuset looks forward to being able to offer a lot of exciting music that might not have been possible to present without such a collaboration.

Skien World, based on Ibsenhuset, is an umbrella and a collaboration between various players and arenas in the area. From 2024, Skien municipality has its own coordinator working with the festival.

Skien World has a good collaboration with Hjalmar Johansen Upper Secondary School, Media and Communication line.
