Skien World

Skien World is being organized for the second year in a row, and Ibsenhuset has entered into a collaboration with four other major players; Oslo World, Tromsø World, Molde Mundo and Bergen International Music Festival. Together we are stronger and this will increase the opportunities to bring in big stars within different music genres from all over the world. Ibsenhuset looks forward to being able to offer lots of exciting music that might not have been possible to present without such a collaboration.

Skien World, based on Ibsenhuset, is an umbrella and a collaboration between various players and arenas in the area. In 2023 you will find events organized by: Ibsenhuset, Lie Bydelshus, Skien kulturskole, Telemark museum, Team Fritid, Litteraturhuset in Skien, Skiensjazzdraget, Spriten Kunsthall and Odeon cinema.
