“The Echoes of Floyd”

It is a very experienced and well-playing band that will take Pink Floyd's universe out on the road in Norway in 2026.

Pulse of Floyd was established in 2008 and is today considered one of the leading Pink Floyd tribute bands in Europe. The band's goal is to reproduce Pink Floyd's concerts of the 80s and 90s both visually and musically as accurately as possible, and most reviewers believe they have succeeded very well in that.

Over the past 18 years, Pulse of Floyd has visited most major concert arenas in Norway such as Rockefeller, Sentrum Scene, Olavshallen in Trondheim, Kilden in Kristiansand, Ibsenhuset in Skien etc., all places with full houses and a great atmosphere. The band is also known for its collaboration with the Norwegian Armed Forces Music and has played large outdoor concerts, including at Akershus Fortress with the Norwegian Armed Forces Staff Music Band and the Backyard Festival in Harstad with the Norwegian Army Music Band, here under the direction of Lieutenant Colonel Lars Erik Gudim who has also arranged Pink Floyd's songs for Janissary orchestra and band. The band has also released two live albums: "Live at the Fortress", with the Norwegian Armed Forces Staff Music Band in 2016 and "Pulse of Floyd Live" in 2011.

In the 2026 edition of Pulse of Floyd's show, we will of course hear a cross-section of Pink Floyd's extensive catalog, from 1967 via the successful albums "Dark Side Of The Moon" and "The Wall" to the "Division Bell" album that led to the last major tour "Pulse" in 1994.

Pulse of Floyd will be bringing a cast of 10 musicians/singers in addition to a technical staff of 6 technicians to carry out the concert, which should mean a concert experience like no other.

As the Swedish "Musiker Magasinet" wrote after one of Pulse of Floyd's concerts at the Rockefeller: "I rank this as one of the world's three best Pink Floyd tributes..., and I've seen most of them..."
