Trond meets: Egil Hegerberg

Norway's least closeted and most productive humorist and musician is going on a date with his life.

Trond Aarstad Jr. meets Egil Hegerberg for a conversation about his life so far – steeped in seriousness and without any irony. It continues right up until the sound check. Egil brings his guitar and sets his life to sound wherever it comes to mind.

Egil Hegerberg (56) was a member of Gartnerlosjen from the start in 1987. Bare Egil Band was formed in 1990 and has a number of releases and concepts behind and ahead of it. A new variant is Bare Egil Spellemannslag – together with Tuva Syvertsen, among others.

Egil was in the band Hurra Torpedo until the final concert at Tons of Rock in 2025. He is also in the two most "surviving" bands Black Debbath and Thulsa Doom.

As a copywriter, he received the Norwegian Copywriters' Foundation's Honorary Award in 2024.

The main character of the evening has already influenced Norwegian music life and the comedy scene for forty years. There will be room for stories from the stage, behind the scenes, in the studio, from the office, on the road, all over Norway, from child artistry, the artist-free life, and everything that ultimately makes life worth living.
