Give the gift of good memories!
More vital than ever! With classics like "The Wild Rover" and "Whiskey in the Jar", The Dublin Legends takes the audience straight into the heyday of the legendary group The Dubliners - while keeping the expression alive and current.
These are concerts where it sparkles, where the singing is loose, and where both new and old audiences find their way back to their roots.
The Dublin Legends keep the legacy of The Dubliners alive, and do so with both respect and new energy.
Although The Dubliners no longer exist, the music lives on on stage through The Dublin Legends. With Sean Cannon (guitar/vocals), Paul Watchorn (banjo/vocals), Gerry O'Connor (violin/banjo) and Shay Kavanagh (guitar/vocals), the group has toured the world for years with a repertoire that is firmly rooted in the Irish folk soul.
Now they have also welcomed a new addition: James Cannon, son of Sean Cannon. Together with his father and brother Robert, he also performs as part of the trio The Cannons, known for their warm blend of folk and country.
Sean Cannon himself has been close to much of the band's history. He took over from Luke Kelly in 1983. Gerry O'Connor also has a direct link to the original line-up, taking over from Barney McKenna in 2012, and has since left his mark on the band with energy and joy of playing.
