Skien Ballett og Dansesenter: Den store Reisen

The Great Journey is a dance performance about setting off, about being on the road, about movement, discovery and change – join the journey!

As is tradition, Skien Ballett og Dansesenter takes over the main hall of Ibsenhuset just before Christmas, to the great delight of both students and the audience. Here, everyone gets to show off on a large stage, in a professional setting, regardless of age and level, and they are proud to present a performance that reflects everything they stand for: joy of movement, mastery, unity and artistic expression.

Skien Ballett og Dansesenter has been a beacon in the dance community in Grenland for 46 years! They offer courses in classical ballet, jazz dance, modern, hip hop and musical for all levels and age groups. From 2026, Skien Ballett og Dansesenter will collaborate with Skien Kulturskole and continue dance education with combined and renewed strength. They are looking forward to continuing the tradition with this year's performances!
