Skien Ballett og Dansesenter: Den store Reisen

The Great Journey is a dance performance about setting off, about being on the road, about movement, discovery and change! - join the journey! Skien Ballett og Dansesenter has been a beacon in the dance community in Grenland for 46 years! From 2026 we will collaborate with Skien Kulturskole and continue dance education with combined and renewed strength! We offer courses in classical ballet, jazz dance, modern, hip hop and musical for all levels and age groups. True to tradition, SbdS takes over the main hall of Ibsenhuset just before Christmas, to the great joy of both students and the audience. Here everyone gets to show off on a large stage, in a professional setting, regardless of age and level, and we are proud to present a performance that reflects everything we stand for: joy of movement, mastery, unity and artistic expression.
