Just under a month after the terrorist attacks on July 22, Rebekka is about to start high school. She doesn't know any of those who died, and thinks she should be able to get back to her everyday life. She tries to get involved in the revue, in Daniel with the curly hair, in parties and school and friends. The only problem is that she thinks about it all the time.
"Unanswered Call" is about searching for meaning in the face of meaninglessness. About how difficult it can be to reach out to each other, and how important it is when we manage to do so. The play is also a story about friendship that lasts, and that there are ways back!
When Riksteatret dramatizes Nora Dåsnes' award-winning comic book 15 years after July 22, the goal is to give young people hope and help them understand their own unrest in the face of a troubled world.
Maja Christensen, from NRK's youth hit "Rådebank", plays the main role. The people around her are played by Amina Mohamud, Jawad Aziz, Arjan Nilsen and Christina Sleipnes.
