Riksteatret: Kakejazz

When the kids get to run the show!

Have you ever been home alone and baked a cake without a recipe? That's exactly what it feels like when Riksteatret invites young and old to the exuberant family performance "Kakejazz". Here it is ready for a cake party, chaos and creative antics.

The Grytebust family is going to bake a cake, but then the phone rings! It's from the jazz club Den blå mugge. A jazz orchestra has canceled, and now they have to have mom and dad on stage right away. As soon as the door closes behind them, a wonderful new opportunity opens up. Now the children can make exactly the cake they want, and mix in anything they want! But what happens when they empty the urn with grandpa in the mix?

"Cake Jazz" is bursting with humor, rhythm and inventiveness. Gunnar Eiriksson is a sly and playful director who knows exactly what it takes to make the kids lean forward in their chairs and the adults laugh along.

And who knows, maybe you'll even get to taste the cake!

Suitable for children from 5 years old.

Julia Sørensen, Martin Hopland Dyngeland, Kim Helge Strømmen, Tiril Heide-Steen, Jon Vegard Hovdal, Peder Varkøy and Julie Falkevik Tungevåg
