LIS: Heidi Linde og Hilde K. Kvalvaag: Samtale om vennskap

Frontline, about deep and lifelong friendships between women.

What makes some friendships last a lifetime? How do we carry each other through life's changing phases – and what happens when relationships are put to the test?
This evening we meet Heidi Linde and Hilde K. Kvalvaag for a conversation about friendship, belonging and the close relationships that shape us.

In Heidi Linde's new novel "Førstelinja" we follow four women who meet at folk high school in the fall of 1992. The friendship they build at that time follows them into adulthood, through love, family life, work and adversity. With warmth, humor and psychological insight, Linde writes about being each other's witnesses and supporters throughout their entire lives.
In "Women Who Walk," Hilde K. Kvalvaag has three friends embark on a journey that spans twenty years. Along the way, they share joys, sorrows, doubts, and new realizations. The novel explores the importance of friendship, the price of freedom, and how life constantly challenges our relationships – without necessarily breaking the bonds.
What can literature tell us about friendship that we may not see ourselves? Why is friendship one of the strongest driving forces in life, and how do two authors portray this theme in different ways?

Welcome to an evening about the importance of friendship – in literature and in life.
