It gets crazy when author and presenter Liv Gulbrandsen puts on her feminist glasses and plows through twelve Harry Hole books to find out as much as possible about who the sleepy policeman Harry Hole really is.
And the questions loom in Liv's reading: How can a woman rest her chest on the steering wheel and drive at the same time? Is Harry Hole really smart or really short? Who are the women in Harry Hole's life? What are they thinking? Why are they often naked? And dead?
This and much more is what author and presenter Liv Gulbrandsen wonders about. She is known from NRK P3 and NRK Children's TV, and is the project manager for Book Year 2019, and not least Hold kejft, det er Ibsen! which has been sold out at the National Theatre in recent years! Through her humorous and effective review of the three books, we may come closer to an answer, while at the same time gaining insight into a literary phenomenon of our time.
Since 1997, Jo Nesbø has written thirteen books about Harry Hole. The books have sold over 55 million copies, and have now been translated into more than 50 languages and sold in over 180 countries worldwide. Harry Hole has his own exhibition at the National Library. Netflix is making a TV series with Tobias Santelmann taking over the title role after Hollywood star Michael Fassbender had it in the film adaptation of The Snowman.
Join Liv Gulbrandsen as she takes us through the success of the book from a feminist perspective.
