Litteraturhuset in Skien has invited one of our most beloved authors, Vigdis Hjorth. What is it about this author that keeps critics, juries and readers coming back – year after year, book after book? And what is it about this distinctive, existential and fearless literary universe that has made her one of our most read, admired and discussed authors?

This time, the Norwegian Literature House wants to pay a proper tribute to this writing team! From the debut book Pelle-Ragnar in the Yellow Farm, to the breakthrough for adults with Drama with Hilde, from political novels such as Leve posthornet! and Et norsk hus, to the great smash hit Arv og miljø, and on to international successes such as: Is mother dead, Gjentakelsjen and the brand new Det gode mennesket i Sandvika.
