Paal Flaata: Julekonsert

Paal Flaata is once again ready for his annual Christmas concert in Skien's main hall .

As usual accompanied by their talented partner Gøran Grini, among others. This time they offer material from "I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day", which was released last year, as well as songs from "Christmas Island" and other gems from Paal Flaata's extensive catalog.
Throughout a recording career that stretches back more than 25 years – the last 20 of them as a solo artist – Paal has astonished those around him with a voice that seems out of this world.
Paal is one of the most touring artists in Norway, and together with pianist and producer, Gøran Grini, has played on most Norwegian stages for 20 years.
For 10 years, Paal Flaata fronted the band Midnight Choir, and by virtue of his magnificent voice he put the group on the European map. During these years, Midnight Choir managed to release five albums + two compilation albums. They received the Spellemannspris for "Amsterdam Stranded" in 1998. As a solo artist, Flaata has released a total of 10 albums; In Demand (2002) - Rain (2005) - Christmas Island (2007) - Old Angel Midnight (2008) - Wait By The Fire (2012) - Bless Us All (2014) - Come Tomorrow (2016) - Love And Rain (2017) - New Green Grass Will Grow (2022) - I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day (2023)
