Welcome to this, which is not just a Christmas concert. This is a musical event. A celebration of the light of the heart – in the midst of darkness.

VáimmuLuce / Heartlight is a new and atmospheric Christmas experience, where the down-to-earth and warm stand side by side with the solemn and powerful, and which we hope will give the audience an experience of peace, reflection and hope - as we often seek during the Christmas season.

On stage you will meet the world-famous Sami artist Mari Boine, the international tenor Thomas Ruud and the magical arranger and musician Stein Austrud.
Together with local choirs and unique fellow musicians, a rich and vibrant soundscape is created where different expressions can naturally blend together. Larger choral movements and pure instrumental parts give the concert additional depth and breadth.

 
With VáimmuLuce / Hjertelys, Stein Austrud has created a musically and visually magnificent Christmas concert - a holistic scenic experience that touches, uplifts and remains long after the sound of the last note has ended.

 
The concert includes both familiar Christmas music and new musical encounters and reflects the complex soundscape of Christmas.
