Didrik Solli-Tangen is a classical singer trained at the Barrat Due Music Institute in Oslo. He had his national breakthrough in 2010 when he won the Norwegian final of Melodi Grand Prix, with the song "My Heart Is Yours". In the fall of 2017, he participated in Stjernekamp on NRK where he came in second place. In 2021, he won Maskorama on NRK disguised as "Snømonsteret". The final was watched by over 1.2 million viewers.
