Didrik Solli-Tangen trained as a classical singer at the Barrat Due music institute in Oslo. He had his national breakthrough in 2010 when he won the Norwegian final of the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "My Heart Is Yours". In the fall of 2017, he participated in Stjernekamp on NRK, where he came second. In 2021, he won Maskorama on NRK disguised as "Snømonsteret". The final was watched by over 1.2 million viewers.
For over 10 years, Didrik's powerful voice has managed to move the entire Norwegian people, including the Royal Family. His first own Christmas song "Det Skal Bli Jul" has been A-listed on NRKP1 and he has played to sold-out concert halls across the country. In 2021, he released "O Helga Natt" together with the Oslo Philharmonic Choir.
