Trond meets: Kristopher Schau
Trond Aarstad Jr. meets Kristopher Schau on stage in Ibsenhuset to a project that is actually also new for Kristopher: An autobiographical life revue – staged by Trond, with a strong participation from Kristopher. There will also be a mini-concert by Kristopher and some of his buddies.
Norway had just strolled into the 1970s when a man who ended up being 2 meters and 1 centimeter entered the world. Restless exploration got a new unit of measurement. Life became an experiment - a mixture of a "Pandora's box" of curiosity and a cornucopia of whims for others to witness, or be exposed to. At the same time as one shrinks, or lets one's chin drop.
So what do you really think of when you think of Kristopher Schau?
Maybe it's the actor's son (father Finn Schau), the radio personality for over 30 years - initially with his brother Aleksander Schau, the musician - since it kicked off with Gartnerlosjen in 1987 and all the way up to The Dogs and White Urine, the author of books such as "På vegne av venner" (2009) - about municipal funerals where no one showed up, the podcaster - with both Rekommandert and Tingenes Tilstand on his resume, the TV man with both Team Antonsen, XLTV, De syv dødsyndene (2007) and Forfall (2001) - a strange performance art project in a shop window on Karl Johans gate in Oslo on his CV, or is it the Quart Festival in 2004 - where one of Norway's most famous lies happened on stage during The Cumshots' concert?
This is just a small sample of what Kristopher and Trond will be discussing this evening. A fascinating life will be summarized so far. It will be a memoir using the idea and waste method. We will try to get to the core. Kristopher is both clear and unclear. What has he gotten himself into?
Welcome!
