Skiensjazzdraget: Aadal

The music of the group Aadal has a clear basis in jazz, but it also has clear references to other genres such as Americana, post-rock and indie. Sources of inspiration include Brian Blade, Bill Frisell, Daniel Lanois and newer bands such as The War on Drugs and Bon Iver.

The quartet has so far released the albums "Silver", "Lost Songs" and "Voyager", which was released in April 2023.

In recent years, Aadal has toured regularly both in this country and in England: "If Leonard Cohen, Daniel Lanois and Neil Young did jazz, it might sound a bit like this." (The Progressive Aspect)
