"Last serving" is Kjetil Espeseth and Kristian Kaupang. The former is a poet. The latter is a songwriter and artist. Together they will fill Ibsenhuset with songs and poems about summers gone by, dogs, deer, cars, girls and boys, records and movies, people with plans to hibernate and people with plans to take the plunge.
There will be contemplation, chuckles, recognition and quite possibly a lump in the throat. Join us in celebrating that the sun will soon turn! This evening will be the very first "Siste servering" in Skien!
Kjetil is currently working on his third poetry collection, "Problemløsning" (published by Lyrikkforlaget) and Kristian has three solo albums to his name, with a brand new album on the way.
About "Siste servering":
"A duo that offers poetry and music that excites and touches the audience with its accuracy with words about life in general."
( Aase Wivestad, festival manager for Kimen Literature Festival)
"With "Sorry, Tom", Kristian Kaupang has produced one of the most acclaimed singer/songwriter albums of the year, and has cultivated musical gems that will stick in your summer cold. Kjetil Espeseth creates thought-provoking touch poetry that removes the distance to an experience or a state of being." (Trond Aarstad Jr., festival manager for Småbylarm)
