Expect a full evening of world-class, blistering, crushing metal - we're finally back on stage together. Hope to see you there! say the members of Pagan´s Mind. The band played for the "congregation" in Atlanta, USA, September 2024. On Saturday, February 8, 2025, it's Skien and Ibsenhuset 's turn. And as a special guest, they're bringing along Jorn Lande himself!
Pagan's Mind is the Telemark band that made a name for itself in the early 2000s with the album "Celestial Entrace" and the hit "Through Osiris' Eyes", with its unique variant of hard-hitting Heavy Metal where innovation and skills are allowed to unfold.
Repeated appearances on NRK's Metal Svisj and performances at festivals in the USA and Be-Ne-Lux in 2003 got the band off to a flying start where, over the next 15 years, the band would receive repeated VG list and Billboard placements, this in combination with frequent touring in Europe and the USA meant that the band established itself as a high-quality live band that climbed up the concert charts. This culminated in a gold record in Sweden for the single "Intermission" and the concert release Full Circle: Live at Center Stage in 2015, recorded in Atlanta, USA.
After a few years break, vocalist Nils K. Rue, guitarist Jørn Viggo Lofstad, keyboardist Ronny Tegner, bassist Steinar Krokmo and drummer Stian Kristoffersen have reunited and decided to make a live comeback and a few selected gigs in 2024 and 2025.
- "We're really looking forward to finally playing on our home turf again and are delighted to have booked the concert in the Peer Gynt Hall at Ibsenhuset. Not only that, we're bringing our good friend and vocalist extravaganza Jorn Lande on stage (Vocalist Nils K. Rue).
