The Stone Age Girl

An adventurous family concert
Enter the universe of Steinalderjenta – a warm, exciting and musical story about friendship across time and space. Here you meet Yr, the girl from the Stone Age, and Ea, a girl from our own time.

When the glacier that has been untouched for thousands of years begins to melt, something incredible happens – Yr comes to life! Together, the girls discover the differences and similarities between their lives, and learn that friendship can overcome both time and distance.
The music, which is both playful and evocative, is composed and performed by Hanne Skaate Fjeldstad and Trond Helge Bårdsen, with Sarah Nordal Strand on flute and other exciting instruments. The performance is based on the album Steinalderjenta (2025), which is available both digitally and as a physical release in HIRO format.
You may have heard the song "The Friendship Song" on NRK Super Radio?
An adventurous and atmospheric family concert with music that captivates both children and adults.
